Structural Lining & Patch Repairs
Patching provides a cost-effective option for restoring pipework. The process is typically used in areas where access is restricted, or excavation is problematic and allows for an efficient solution for almost all pipework damage.
Following an initial CCTV survey, our specialist engineers will prepare a detailed report with information on the damaged areas prior to the work being carried out. If remedial works are needed, this can include anything from re-forming the pipe to installing patch liners or we offer full re-lining services if required.
High Pressure Water Jetting
When using our High-Pressure Water Jetting (HPWJ) the water force will cut through almost anything which makes it highly effective when cutting and dislodging debris found in or attached to a drain, sewer or process pipe. It works by blasting highly compressed and concentrated pressurised water out of a small nozzle.

We use HPWJ in a wide range of environments due to its effectiveness, and precision. This technology is a simple solution to many sewer and drainage problems, and causes minimum harm to the environment.
Investigations
At MS we are able to investigate a number of drainage and plumbing issues, from leaks and venting issues to flow restrictions.
We will conduct a number of services to find the root cause of the problem and resolve with the most cost effective solutions for your business.

We have a large array of specialist fault finding equipment and our engineering team have the OS19X Pipe Sewer Condition MSCC 5th Edition accreditation to enable us to diagnose and resolve, with a full structural generated report.
Root Cutting
Pipes blocked by tree roots can damage points that are already weak in the system.
Our MS Drainage Engineers can cut most roots out of any drain using our root cutting equipment in conjunction with our high-pressure water jetter and specialist high-speed milling equipment. We carry these on board our well-equipped vans.

As a preventative measure we will install a patch liner or liner over the root ingress point to eliminate blockages and prevent further root growth inside the pipe for the foreseeable future.
In more extreme cases such as when a root gets into a storm water pipe, the only solution would be to excavate and replace the pipe.
Descaling
Drain descaling can lengthen the life span of your existing drainage infrastructure, removing build-up, debris, and rust from drainpipes.

Descaling utilises specialist high speed milling equipment, electro rotary equipment and high pressure water jetting equipment that essentially clean the interior of the drain without having to manually clear rust or other remnants.
The procedure is completely non-invasive.
